Panel discussion “Right-wing tendencies at the University of Kassel. Who can do what?” as part of the lecture series ”recht extrem! Landnahme, Resistance, Struggles of Interpretation”
With the panel discussion “Right-wing tendencies at the University of Kassel. Who can do what?” as part of the lecture series ”recht extrem! Landnahme, Widerstände, Deutungskämpfe”, we approach the question of how right-wing tendencies can be dealt with in the everyday working context at the University of Kassel.
We will discuss from the perspective of lecturers and students what it means to have to deal with misanthropic statements in teaching contexts and what institutional framework conditions are needed to counter right-wing tendencies from different roles in everyday life. Together with members of the university and civil society actors, we would like to look beyond the university as an institution and discuss perspectives on how alliances can be practically formed across actors and institutions in the fight against right-wing tendencies.
Venue: Lecture hall 2 Campus Center
Organizer: Kassel Institute, FB05 and the Anti-Discrimination Office
