Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of social policy

The position is initially limited until 31.03.2022 as part of the project: "Emotionsregime und Solidaritätskonstruktionen in der Interaktionsarbeit" (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

Collaboration in the third-party funded project EmoSol (Emotionsregime und Solidarität in Arbeitskontexten der Daseinsvorsorge) at the Kassel site, located in the Department of Social Policy:

Planning and coordination of fieldwork, development and coordination of instruments; conducting document analyses and interviews, evaluation of surveys and integration of results, participation in project publications.

The third-party funded project EmoSol is carried out in cooperation with the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

Prerequisites:

• Completed university degree in a social science subject

• Knowledge of or experience with qualitative organizational research and/or the sociology of professions or work
• Willingness to conduct interviews independently at various locations

Advantageous:

• Own research experience
• Knowledge of the dynamics of change in welfare state arrangements
• An international orientation
• Interest in a doctoral project (possibly in connection with the project)
