Career prospects

The study of the Bachelor of Catholic Theology as a minor subject expands one's qualifications with a multifaceted component, both methodologically and in terms of content, which is attractive for occupational fields as diverse as journalism, publishing and human resources management, museums or adult education. In particular, the degree program increases one's chances of being hired by church institutions, academies, publishing houses, or associations, and also offers the opportunity to enter more in-depth studies (master's degree programs) in Catholic theology. The course of study does not qualify students for a church profession (e.g. in pastoral care) on its own.
