The Online M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems (wes.online) is constructed as a part-time distance learning degree course taught in the English language. The prescribed period of study constitutes 5 to 7 semesters, depending on an individual learning schedule. Natural scientists and engineers are the main target group of this English master's program which aims at educating specialists for corresponding research and industry.

Our lecturers are experts in wind power settled at the University of Kassel, Germany's leading university in the field of sustainability, as well as from the <link www.iee.fraunhofer.de/en.html - external-link "Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy Systems Technology">Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology (IEE). The IEE is a division of Europe's leading research institute Fraunhofer. Further, we are a member of the <link de.mintonline.de/public_pages/82 - external-link "Educational alliance mint.online">educational alliance mint.online - a collaboration of universities and research institutes who aim at educating experts of tomorrow in the subjects of mathematics, computer science, natural science and technology - in which we set a focus on sustainability.

For international students, application for the Online M.SC. Wind Energy Systems <link internal-link>master's program is possible until the 15th July, 2019. The program will start in October.

We offer the possibility to acquire separate <link internal-link>certificates to specialize in certain areas of wind energy systems. The certificate's program starts both in summer and in winter term. Next start is in April 2019. Application is possible until 1st April, 2019.

The online M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems(wes.online) is designed as an English-language part-time distance learning program. Depending on an individual learning plan, the duration of the program is between 5 and 7 semesters. The target group of the master program are engineers and scientists from all over the world. The goal of the program is to train wind energy specialists for research and industry.

As a member of the <link de.mintonline.de/public_pages/20 - external-link "Bildungsallianz Mint Online">educational alliance mint.online - an association of German universities, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and other research institutions - we would like to contribute to the education of specialists in the MINT subjects, with a focus also on the aspect of sustainability.

Applications for the <link>master's program are open to students with a German bachelor's or diploma degree until September 1, 2019. Students with non-German degrees are already required to submit by July 15, 2019. The next start of the program is in October 2019.

Furthermore, we offer the acquisition of individual <link>certificates to enable specialization in individual areas of wind energy. A study start is possible in both winter and summer semesters. An application for the certificate program starting in April 2019 can be submitted with a German as well as a non-German bachelor or diploma degree until April 1, 2019.
