You have heard a lot about us by now? We dare you to take the next step and meet us!

For the first time, we at theOnline M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems offer a project week in Germany. This year, we invite students from all over the world to come visit us. Us - that means the University of Kassel as well as the Fraunhofer Institutes <link www.iee.fraunhofer.de/en.html - external-link "Fraunhofer IEE english">IEE (Kassel) and <link www.iwes.fraunhofer.de/en.html - external-link "Fraunhofer IWES english">IWES (Bremerhaven). Participants are going to meet teachers and visit laboratories at the University and Fraunhofer Institutes.

Beyond that, we want to give the participating students the opportunity to experience the famous German Energiewende in person. In this framework, we will visit the wind farm <link www.windpark-soehrewald-niestetal.de/home/ - external-link "Wind farm Söhrewald">Söhrewald on the outskirts of Kassel. Our next stop will be in Aurich where the human development department of Germanys largest producer of wind turbines - <link www.enercon.de/en/home/ - external-link "ENERCON english">ENERCON - will introduce themselves to us before guiding us into the very heart of the company - the production plant.

During our stay in Bremerhaven we will meet our colleges at Fraunhofer IWES and visit the museum <link www.klimahaus-bremerhaven.de/en/discover/the-journey/overview.html - external-link "Klimahaus Bremerhaven english">Klimahaus Bremerhaven where you can experience replica of different climate zones existing along the eighth longitude east.

Our journey ends in Hamburg where the <link www.windenergyhamburg.com/en/ - external-link "Global Wind Summit english">Global Wind Summit will take place which offers the students another opportunity to connect with industry representatives. This year we offer from the Online M.Sc. Wind Energy Systems is offering a project week in Germany for the first time. We invite students from all over the world to join us. Participants will meet teachers there and visit laboratories of the university and Fraunhofer institutes.

Of course, we would also like to give the participating students the opportunity to see the famous German Energiewende up close. The human resources department of Germany's largest wind turbine manufacturer <link www.enercon.de/home/ - external-link "ENERCON deutsch">ENERCON introduces itself to us there and afterwards we are allowed to go to the heart of the company - the production.

During the visit to our colleagues at Fraunhofer IWES in Bremerhaven, we will also take the opportunity to explore the museum <link www.klimahaus-bremerhaven.de/entdecken/die-reise/uebersicht.html - external-link "Klimahaus Bremerhaven">Klimahaus Bremerhaven. This offers worlds of knowledge and experience, which are modeled on different climate zones along the 8th degree of longitude east.

Our journey ends in Hamburg, where the global wind energy summit is being held this year.
