Vocational Education - Health (Master)

In the master's degree program in vocational health education, students deepen their knowledge of vocational education and the subject and become qualified to teach the subject of health at different types of schools. The program builds on the bachelor's degree program in vocational health education at Fulda University of Applied Sciences and takes place in cooperation with the latter. In addition to the "classic" variant, which opens the door to the second phase of teacher training (the teacher traineeship) and concludes with a Master of Education, there is the option of taking the second subject of nursing from the Bachelor and obtaining a Master of Arts at the end of the program. Depending on the degree, different career fields open up after graduation, ranging from jobs at vocational schools in the health care sector to specialized secondary school or high school education programs with a focus on health. In addition, this master's program qualifies students to teach at vocational schools in the dual system of vocational education (e.g. training as medical assistants).
