Autonomous Cultural Department Witzenhausen

Are you a student and want to organize an event? A concert in the club, an exhibition, a lecture, whatever you have in mind, we will be happy to support you!

What is the AKR?

We are the autonomous cultural department and have a budget for cultural events in Witzenhausen via the AStA. Autonomous means that we can dispose of the budget independently, but always with the approval of the AStA / StuPa of the University of Kassel.

How does it work?

Contact us at least two to three weeks before the event. We cannot give you anything without prior approval. Events during the semester break need more lead time.

• What are you planning? What is it about? Who is involved?
• How much money do you want?
• Is it about travel costs (where from, where to, how many cars, train tickets etc.), fee (invoice possible?), meals (only to be settled with original receipts!)?

Depending on what is involved, you will receive a form or an invoice template, which you then fill out with the respective artists, musicians, etc.

The advertising for your event must show the AStA logo (can be found at the bottom of the document) and it is desirable if we can advertise your event via the Uni Kassel mailing list.
